(Dan Tri) - At the moment of transition from the old year to the new year 2025, Hanoi Maternity Hospital welcomed two baby girls, bringing much happiness to the families and doctors.
At exactly 0:02 on January 1, the cry of baby girl Thuy Chi rang out in the operating room, Department of Anesthesia and Resuscitation, Hanoi Obstetrics Hospital, in the overwhelming joy of the mother and doctors.
After a few cries "signaling" the birth of her child, the baby girl was held close to her mother's chest, her eyes sparkling as she looked at everyone around her.
Thuy Chi's mother, Le Nhat Lan (born 2005), held her child in her arms and shed tears of happiness.

According to Dr. Nguyen Hung Son, Head of the D3 Obstetrics Service Department, this was a special birth. The fetus was full term but there were no signs of labor. The test results showed that the fetus was large and the fetal heart rate was slow, so we decided to perform a cesarean section immediately to ensure the safety of both mother and child.
As the first person to welcome Thuy Chi into the world, Dr. Son said that even though he has been working in the profession for 35 years, every time he welcomes a baby into the world, it is a special feeling, even more special when this is the first baby born in 2025 at the hospital.
"I want to send my best wishes to all babies born at this moment, all babies will be lucky when they are born, bring happiness to their families, to society, and be healthy 'future owners' of the country," Dr. Son expressed.
"Welcoming my first child at the moment of transition gave me an indescribable feeling of elation," Lan shared.
