The project to renovate and upgrade Hoang Quoc Viet Street, invested by Son La City People's Committee, has a total length of 1.16 km, including a 700 m main route and 3 branch routes. The project includes the following items: Upgrading and repairing the current road surface; asphalt concrete pavement; paving sidewalks; replacing and adding curbs and tree beds; dredging and repairing the longitudinal ditch system...

After more than 5 months of construction, the contractor is dismantling, installing panels, dredging ditches, erecting curbs, paving sidewalks, repairing road surfaces..., reaching about 50% of the contract volume, basically ensuring progress according to the plan.

These days, the construction atmosphere on the route is taking place urgently. Mr. Nguyen Van Do, Director of My Anh Investment, Construction and Development Joint Stock Company, the construction unit, said: The company mobilizes maximum workers, machinery and equipment, taking advantage of favorable weather to work overtime; mornings start from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., afternoons from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. During the construction process, the units basically strictly implement the work of ensuring traffic safety and labor safety.

Striving to complete the project before May 19, the City People's Committee has directed the Construction Investment Project Management Board to closely coordinate with relevant units to ensure the project is constructed on schedule and of high quality. At the same time, periodic supervision and inspection work is strictly implemented to avoid delays or errors during the construction process.

At the inspection of the project's progress and implementation, Comrade Ha Trung Chien, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council, requested the construction unit to commit to implementing the project on schedule, ensuring labor safety and minimizing impacts on people's lives; adjusting a number of items to ensure that they are consistent with the deployed routes and suitable for the functionality and efficiency of capital use, without changing the scale and objectives of the project.

Regularly present at the construction site to supervise the construction, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Dung, Deputy Director of the City Construction Investment Project Management Board, informed: To ensure synchronization with the routes, the unit has coordinated with the Urban Management Department and related units to inspect, review the field and agree to adjust the design documents of the sidewalk construction drawings from gray natural stone to moss green; add load-bearing panels at the intersection to the Square.

The renovation and upgrading of Hoang Quoc Viet Street has received the consensus and high support of the people. Ms. Ha Thi Tuc, Group 3, Quyet Thang Ward, shared: We are very happy that the road has been upgraded and renovated, not only improving traffic conditions but also bringing a new look to the neighborhood.

The Hoang Quoc Viet road renovation project plays an important role in connecting traffic, improving urban infrastructure and enhancing investment attraction.
