Today, December 24, authorized by the Provincial People's Committee, the Military Command of Quang Tri province organized a conference to coordinate military recruitment in 2025.

In 2024, Quang Tri province's military recruitment work will be carried out closely and synchronously, ensuring the assigned targets. The Provincial Military Command will advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue a decision to assign military recruitment targets to localities in conjunction with creating sources to build reserve mobilization forces at the grassroots level. Localities will step up propaganda work, implement uniformly, closely, correctly and sufficiently the military recruitment process with the motto "whoever is recruited is sure of that person".

The work of preliminary selection, medical examination, synchronization of records, coordination of military recruitment, finalization of military numbers and issuance of military enlistment orders ensured democracy and transparency; policy activities, military rear areas, meetings, exchanges and encouragement of young people to join the army were organized enthusiastically and practically by localities. The military handover and acceptance ceremonies in localities took place solemnly and seriously, ensuring 100% of the assigned targets.

At the conference, delegates discussed and exchanged some difficulties and problems in the military recruitment work in 2024 and agreed on the direction and tasks for 2025. According to the plan, in 2025, Quang Tri province was assigned the target of recruiting 1,000 citizens to join the army, assigned to the following units: Provincial Border Guard Command; General Department of Engineering; Special Forces Brigade 198, Special Forces (Ministry of National Defense); Infantry Division 324; Engineer Brigade 414; Information Brigade 80 (Military Region 4) and Quang Tri Provincial Military Command.

This is also the first year of implementing the preliminary selection and military service examination according to Circular No. 105/2023/TT-BQP of the Ministry of National Defense, with many innovations and expansions.

At the conference, representatives of the military units signed a memorandum of understanding, agreeing to coordinate well in the military recruitment work in 2025.
