My Son organizes art program to welcome the new year 2024

(QNO) - On January 1, 2024, at My Son heritage site, the art program "My Son Echo" will take place to welcome the new year with many special performances.

The program is staged in 3 parts with a duration of about 16 minutes. The opening part is “The Flow of Time” recreating the cultural space of the My Son heritage land with Cham folk dances originating from the daily life and work of Cham women.

Part 2 of "Ponai Cham Folk Songs" features a type of Cham folk song with strong national identity, expressing the wish for a favorable new crop and for people to have enough to eat.

In the “Festival” section, visitors will be immersed in the Kate festival. This is a sacred and very important festival, commemorating the deceased, national heroes, so all members of the village, of all ages, participate. During the festival, people gather at ancient temples, enjoy folk dances, bustling with the sound of ghi nang drums, saranai trumpets...

According to the My Son Cultural Heritage Management Board, the art program "My Son Echo" is a highlight to welcome the new year 2024, contributing to promoting and attracting tourists to visit and experience the temple complex, starting a new year of prosperity and development.
