With its convenience and many outstanding advantages, cashless payment has become popular in the 4.0 era. However, to ensure safety and protect the rights and legitimate interests of the parties when making transactions, VPBank recommends that customers pay attention to PROHIBITED ACTS IN NON-CASH PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS (*)

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT:

1. Conducting fraudulent, counterfeit transactions; making fake transactions at card accepting units (CPUs) (without generating any purchase or sale of goods or provision of services).
2. Using Card/E-Wallet/Payment Account to conduct transactions for the purposes of money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, cheating and other illegal acts.
3. Opening or maintaining an anonymous payment account/e-Wallet/Card, impersonating, using false information.
4. Making, using, transferring and circulating counterfeit cards;
5. Buy, sell, rent, lease, borrow, lend payment accounts/bank cards (except for anonymous prepaid cards);
6. Stealing, colluding to steal, buying, selling bank card information.
7. Organizing/conducting or facilitating illegal acts, gambling, fraud, scams, illegal business related to credit cards.

Whether intentional or unintentional, all acts showing signs of violating the law will be monitored and reported to the competent State agency and may be subject to administrative penalties of up to VND 150,000,000 or criminal prosecution and compensation for damages according to the provisions of law.

VPBank reserves the right to refuse to perform and/or investigate and refund transactions that violate Vietnamese law. Violating cards/accounts will be permanently closed.
