'Long Chau Sharing' continues the journey for a healthy Vietnam

This is not only a meaningful activity but also a way for Long Chau to show its commitment to society, share love and contribute to raising awareness of community health care.

Accompanying the local provincial youth union, leading hospitals and medical agencies, Long Chau has set foot in distant lands to give health, send love and ignite the spirit of sharing.

When the bus rolled to A Luoi district (Thua Thien - Hue ) - a border land with rolling mountains covered in mist. People were present early, amidst the cool breeze of the mountains and forests, greetings, laughter mixed with hurried footsteps created a warm moment of meeting, smiles and clasped hands said hello.

On that warm journey, Long Chau had a special companion, artist Truong Giang. Together with artist Truong Giang and doctors, Long Chau brought to the people not only dedicated medical examinations and free medicine, but also meaningful sharing moments. At each stop, people were not only consulted, examined, and received practical health gifts, but also listened to every word of advice and had their long-standing concerns about their illness answered. The handshakes, smiles, caring eyes, and simple inquiries made the examinations like friendly meetings - where people felt the thoughtful and attentive care.

Through this project, the system hopes to create conditions for people in remote areas, especially children, women and the elderly, to receive timely and more complete health care, while spreading and building the positive habit of "prevention is better than cure".

With a system of 2,222 pharmacies spread across provinces and cities, Long Chau is committed to constantly striving to erase geographical boundaries, narrow the gap in healthcare experiences, and improve the quality of life of people - whether in urban or rural areas, everyone has the right to access healthcare products and medical advances equally.

The representative of Long Chau pharmacy system and vaccination center expressed: "Health is not only the most precious thing, but also the fulcrum that helps each person stand firm in the face of challenges and live their dreams. It is this belief that has motivated us to initiate the long-term project "Long Chau Sharing - Health Journey, for a healthy Vietnam". On this occasion, accompanying us, artist Truong Giang not only brings joy, but also opens his arms to connect, so that each destination becomes a place to spread love, inspire hope and remind that no one will be left behind on the journey to protect health ".

Mr. NV Ba - a resident of A Luoi district, emotionally shared: "Long Chau doctors and pharmacists consulted and instructed very carefully, wholeheartedly guiding people to understand how to detect diseases early. Early disease prevention will reduce the burden of treatment costs for ourselves, our families and society. Thanks to the program, we understand our health status better to take better care of ourselves and our families, to be healthier".

Artist Truong Giang also sincerely expressed: "The health journey initiated by Long Chau pharmacy has traveled across all regions, from North to South, to bring good values to the community. "Long Chau shares" is not just a trip, but a long-term journey, always standing side by side with good doctors to take care of people's health. I hope that people will have more trustworthy friends, in case of bad weather".

Along the length of the country, from North - Central - South, each stop of the "Long Chau Sharing " journey carries the warmth of care and humanity. And somewhere in the memories of the people, there is still the image of Long Chau pharmacists diligently caring for, handing each pill, sending all their hearts and wishes for a healthier Vietnam.

Taking proactive care of health is not only a medical solution, but also a foundation that contributes to creating a breakthrough in people's health care, meeting the requirements of national development in the new era. Responding to the spirit of the Resolution on breakthroughs in health care, Long Chau has been and will continue to coordinate with leading domestic and foreign partners to implement many free screening and medical examination programs across regions, putting people at the center - aiming to help prevent and improve health, contributing to building a healthy community.

Thereby, the unit has coordinated to implement many community health care programs such as: screening for chronic kidney disease, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, gout, anemia, liver disease, hypertension, vision, cardiovascular disease, metabolic disorders, etc. On August 5, Long Chau joined forces with the pharmaceutical group and the Vietnam Alzheimer's and Cognitive Disorders Association (VnADA) to launch a memory and concentration health screening program, the first in Vietnam, with the goal of screening and early detection of cognitive decline for 5 million people, so that timely interventions can be made to improve brain health and reduce the risk of cognitive decline later on.

It is known that the "Long Chau Sharing" project is a long-term project for community health initiated by the Long Chau pharmacy and vaccination center system since April 2021, with the goal of providing medical support and health care advice to people in difficult circumstances across the country, especially in remote areas where access to healthcare is limited. Previously, in December 2024, "Long Chau Sharing" touched the hearts of thousands of people and was honored with the "Timely Project Award" at the national award - Human Act Prize.
