The General Assembly Delegation - Vietnam Evangelical Church (North) and the Representative Board of the Evangelical Church of Lang Son province presented gifts and New Year greetings to the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee

On the morning of February 2, pastors and ordained pastors of the General Assembly - Vietnam Evangelical Church (North) and the Representative Board of the Evangelical Church of Lang Son province; priests and monks of the Diocese of Lang Son - Cao Bang visited and extended New Year greetings to the Provincial People's Committee on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024. Comrade Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the reception of the delegations.

At the reception, the delegation of the General Assembly - Vietnam Evangelical Church (North) and the Representative Board of the Evangelical Church of Lang Son province led by Pastor Bui Van San, President of the Vietnam Evangelical Church (North) thanked the People's Committee of Lang Son province for their attention and facilitation in the past time during religious activities. On the occasion of the New Year, the delegation wished the provincial leaders and their families a new year of peace and prosperity.

The delegation of the Lang Son - Cao Bang Diocese Bishop's Office, led by Father Nguyen Van Nghiem, Head of Training of the Lang Son - Cao Bang Diocese, thanked the provincial leaders, local Party committees and authorities for always creating favorable conditions for the parishioners to practice their beliefs in accordance with the law; actively participating in patriotic emulation movements launched by the locality, living "a good life, a beautiful religion". On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, Father Nguyen Van Nghiem wished the provincial leaders good health and success.

On behalf of the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Comrade Ho Tien Thieu gave an overview of the socio-economic development situation in 2023 and the socio-economic development plan and goals of the province in 2024, affirming that the results were thanks to the efforts of the entire political system and the entire population in the area, including the contributions of dignitaries, officials, and followers of Protestantism and Catholicism. He sent his greetings to the pastors, pastors of the General Assembly - Vietnam Evangelical Church (North), the Representative Board of Protestantism in Lang Son province, and bishops, priests, and monks of the Lang Son - Cao Bang Diocese, along with religious followers, to welcome a peaceful and happy new year.

He hoped that pastors, ordained pastors, bishops, priests and monks would continue to organize activities well, mobilize religious followers to promote the tradition of patriotism, solidarity, and strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws. Thereby, contributing to the Party Committee, government and mass organizations to successfully implement socio-economic development goals, building Lang Son province to become increasingly prosperous and sustainable.
