Provincial leaders offered incense to commemorate and pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh.

President Ho Chi Minh affirmed the noble meaning of July 27th, saying: because it is "an occasion for our people to show their filial piety and charity, to show their love for war invalids". Nghe An is one of the three provinces in the country with the largest number of families of people with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of martyrs and war invalids, with more than 65 families of people with meritorious services, including nearly 30,000 war invalids and people enjoying policies like war invalids, over 9,000 sick soldiers and about 13,000 people infected with Agent Orange. The whole province has more than 45,000 martyrs who heroically sacrificed; more than 56,000 wounded soldiers and war invalids who left a part of their blood and bones on the battlefield.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.

Imbued with his teachings, along with efforts to develop the economy and society, Nghe An always pays attention to and determines that implementing policies for people with meritorious services is a sentiment, honor and extremely important political task. From mobilized resources, the province has built and repaired 16 thousand houses of gratitude, awarded nearly 24 thousand savings books to families of people with meritorious services to the revolution and all heroic Vietnamese mothers have been taken care of.

On the occasion of July 27 this year, according to plan, the whole province will visit and give gifts to nearly 96 thousand policy families, meritorious people in difficult circumstances, with a total budget and socialized amount of over 30 billion VND.
