C03 leader talks about general principles of corruption crimes

On the evening of August 6, at the 9th "For National Security" emulation congress, when talking about the process of clarifying a number of major corruption cases in recent times, Colonel Nguyen Huu Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Investigation Police on Corruption, Economic Crimes, and Smuggling (C03, Ministry of Public Security ) said that in order to successfully solve corruption cases, the unit received close direction from the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and negativity; leaders of the Ministry of Public Security; along with the determination, joint efforts, and unanimity of the collective of officers and soldiers of C03.

“Summing up corruption cases in recent times, we have found that there is a common principle of crime: always aiming for illegal benefits, with collusion, conspiracy, and assistance from some leaders at all levels. Without corrupt state officials, enterprises would not be able to carry out their actions. From that common principle, in the process of performing our duties, we always ask the question: Why do some enterprises win bids in any province? Why are there decisions that have come into legal effect but the subjects can still change and adjust them? Why do our officials violate the law, what is their motive and purpose?”, Colonel Nguyen Huu Son shared.

According to Colonel Nguyen Huu Son, in all the cases that C03 has recently investigated, the acts of corruption have left traces and with professional measures, C03 has investigated and clarified them all.

Colonel Nguyen Huu Son shared that during the implementation of the mission, when discovering related leaders, C03 always reported to the competent authority, with the motto "no matter who that person is". And, the investigating officers and soldiers no longer have to worry or be hesitant, because they all carry out a common task of proving crimes to clean up the apparatus and the economy.
