Following the direction of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the political tasks of Quang Ninh, the Provincial Women's Union has made many contributions to the work of building and promoting cultural values ​​and human strength of Quang Ninh in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU (dated October 30, 2023) of the Provincial Party Executive Committee.

Identifying women as an active factor in preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the province, in recent times, the Women's Unions at all levels of Quang Ninh have actively carried out emulation movements. Up to now, 100% of union officials and members have been propagandized about the typical values ​​of the province and the people of Quang Ninh; 100% of the Women's Unions at the district level have at least 1 model of promoting local cultural values ​​and people.

In the mountainous areas of the province, in order to preserve and promote traditional cultural values, the Women's Union at all levels has actively participated in restoration activities, established and launched models to preserve cultural identity through traditional cultural and artistic clubs, such as: Then singing of the Tay people, Soong co singing of the San Chi people, Pa dung singing of the Dao Thanh Phan people... These are traditional melodies that have been preserved and passed down by the people through many generations.

Ms. Luc Thi Thanh (Huc Dong commune, Binh Lieu district) said: I really want to bring the Soong co melody of my people to special art programs of the province and the whole country, to promote the traditional culture of the locality.

The preservation and conservation of traditional art melodies is considered a responsibility, obligation and expression of love for the homeland and national identity of women in particular and Quang Ninh people in general. Cultural models and clubs not only create a playground for women members to exchange, but also preserve, promote, introduce and advertise local cultural values. In the face of the development of the modern economy, preserving the unique characteristics in the material and spiritual culture of ethnic minorities is extremely necessary in building culture to become a fulcrum for socio-economic development.

After 1 year of implementing Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU dated October 30, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee on building and promoting cultural values, the strength of Quang Ninh people has become an endogenous resource, a driving force for rapid and sustainable development. Women's unions at all levels in the province have registered over 8,000 collective and individual models focusing on fulfilling civic responsibilities; complying with the provisions of law and policies of the State and localities; actively participating in socio-economic development; practicing a civilized lifestyle at the place of residence.

In particular, the Women's Union at all levels has actively mobilized female members to respond and participate enthusiastically in the movements "All people unite to build a cultural life", the campaign "Building a family of 5 no 3 clean" associated with implementing a cultural and civilized lifestyle. In which, many environmental protection models have been deployed by the Women's Union at all levels and brought about remarkable results such as "Turning garbage into money", "Composting organic fertilizer", "Green Sunday" ...

Notably, the model of applying microbiological products to treat organic household waste with 200 households registered to participate in communes and towns of the Women's Union of Dam Ha district. Households were instructed on how to classify waste at home, how to use SagiBio products to compost organic waste, and treat organic waste at home; and were given materials including 1 compost bin, 3 waste sorting bins, and SagiBio products to treat organic household waste.

Further promoting the role of preserving and promoting cultural values ​​of the Quang Ninh Women's Union at all levels in the era of national development, in the coming time, women in the whole province will continue to restore, preserve and maintain traditional cultural values; build a civilized and modern lifestyle, promote indigenous characteristics, and become proactive in turning ethnic culture into a resource for socio-economic development in each locality.
