Established 3 grassroots unions, admitted 824 union members

On the afternoon of August 22, at Hong Bang ward, Hai Phong City Labor Federation organized the announcement of decisions on admitting union members, establishing grassroots unions and handing over grassroots unions to Hong Bang ward union for management.

The conference announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation to establish 3 Labor Unions of Companies: Alpha 24 Security Service Corporation, 202 Group Corporation, Cam Vinh Trading and Production LLC. Appointed the provisional Executive Committee of the 3 Labor Unions above.

The conference also announced the decision to admit 824 union members of the above 3 unions into the Vietnam Trade Union. Of which, the Alpha 24 Security Services Joint Stock Company Union has 771 union members; the Cam Vinh Trading and Production Company Limited Union has 29 union members; and the 202 Group Joint Stock Company Union has 24 union members.

The trade unions of the above companies are organized and operate in accordance with the provisions of the Trade Union Law and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, have legal status, use their own seals and open accounts at the Treasury (bank). The term of the provisional trade union executive committee of the companies shall not exceed 12 months from the date of establishment.

The City Labor Federation has handed over the above 3 grassroots Trade Unions to the Hong Bang Ward Trade Union for monitoring and management.

Thus, Hong Bang Ward Trade Union currently manages 222 grassroots trade unions, one of the ward trade unions managing the largest number of grassroots trade unions in the city.
