Lam Dong spreads the program "Moving forward with Vietnam"

After listening to the opinions of the participants, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan said that this is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), National Day September 2 (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and People's Public Security Tradition Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).

Thereby, promoting the spirit of patriotism, solidarity and development aspirations of the Vietnamese people in the new period, spreading confidence, pride and strong will to rise throughout society.

The program aims to encourage the movement of the whole people to participate in sports training, respond to the Campaign "The whole people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and the movement "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland". From there, build the habit of walking, contributing to reducing carbon emissions to the environment.

He suggested that it should be spread to all communes, wards, and special zones in the province and convey the spirit and meaning of the program to all people.

He requested the Provincial Police to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to implement the program according to plan. The departments, branches and localities should actively coordinate with the Provincial Police and the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper to implement the required contents so that the program can take place successfully.

He assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province to carry out propaganda and street music activities during the program.

The Provincial Youth Union was assigned to coordinate the organization of folk dance and cheerleading activities to create momentum during the event. Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio and Television increased information before, during and after the event to create a good effect on the purpose and meaning of the program "Moving Forward with Vietnam".

This event also helps spread the beautiful image of the land, culture and people of Lam Dong to domestic and international friends.

The national walking event “Moving Forward with Vietnam” will take place from July 25 to August 16, 2025. People across the country can register online and walk every day, contributing to the journey of “1 billion steps towards a new era” - a practical activity that demonstrates patriotism, promotes healthy lifestyles and reduces carbon emissions, towards the country's Net Zero goal.

In particular, at 6:00 - 7:30 a.m. on August 16, 2025, people in 34 provinces and cities with 3,321 communes, wards, and administrative zones will simultaneously wear red shirts with yellow stars, sing the National Anthem, and walk together for a united, strong, and sustainable Vietnam.

According to the above schedule, Lam Dong will continue to broadcast the National Flag Raising Ceremony at President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and take a walk around Xuan Huong Lake at 6:30 - 7:30. Other localities in the province will also follow the above content and schedule as planned.

It is expected that at least 5,000 people will participate in the program "Moving Forward with Vietnam" - 1 billion steps into the new era.
