In districts, towns and cities, the forest fire forecast levels are as follows:

In the districts of Son Dong, Luc Ngan, Luc Nam and Chu town, forest fires are forecasted at level V (extremely dangerous). In the districts of Yen The, Lang Giang; Viet Yen town and Bac Giang city, forest fires are forecasted at level IV (dangerous).

In Tan Yen district, the forest fire is forecasted at level III (high level). In Hiep Hoa district, due to recent rain (5 mm rainfall), the forest fire is forecasted at level I (low level).

Forest fire occurred last March in Nham Bien ward (Bac Giang city).

The Bac Giang Forest Protection Department requested that the Chairman of the District People's Committee and the District Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting Command directly direct the work of forest fire prevention and fighting in the locality. Forest owners and forest rangers regularly and strictly inspect key fire-prone areas; arrange forces to guard and be on duty during the day to ensure compliance with the forest fire forecast level prescribed by the Provincial People's Committee; promptly detect fires, give alarms and mobilize forces and means to extinguish them immediately.

Regularly and promptly announce information on forest fire risk forecasts and warnings, regulations on fire use in forests and forest edges, and daily forest fire situations in the locality on mass media. When a forest fire occurs, mobilize forces and means to promptly extinguish it; investigate and verify the fire and track down the perpetrators for strict handling according to the provisions of law.
