HOSE: Net selling of over 627 billion VND
On the HOSE floor, foreign investors bought 117.14 million shares, equivalent to VND3,562.6 billion, down 15.5% in volume and 16.36% in value compared to the session on August 8. The selling volume reached more than 138 million shares, equivalent to VND4,189.85 billion, down 15.58% in volume and 18% in value. At the end of the session, foreign investors net sold 20.88 million shares, worth VND627.24 billion (down 16% in volume and 26.2% in value).
On the buying side, VPB led with VND120.7 billion (4.06 million shares), followed bySHB with a net purchase of VND108.7 billion (5.73 million shares). On the selling side, HPG was the most net withdrawn with nearly VND193 billion (6.9 million shares), followed by FPT with nearly VND123 billion and GEX with VND102.1 billion.
HNX: Net purchase of over 21 billion VND
Foreign investors on HNX bought 7.55 million shares, equivalent to VND190.44 billion, down 41.2% in volume and 42.7% in value. They sold 6.35 million shares, equivalent to VND168.8 billion, down more than 39% in both volume and value. Thus, foreign investors net bought 1.2 million shares, worth VND21.64 billion (down 47.6% in volume and 60% in value).
SHS was the most net bought with 45.1 billion VND (1.9 million shares), followed by IDC with 20.7 billion VND (0.44 million shares). On the selling side, PVS was net withdrawn with 38.3 billion VND (over 1 million shares) and CEO with 22.7 billion VND (0.85 million shares).
UPCoM: Net selling of more than 46 billion VND
On UPCoM, foreign investors bought 261,500 shares, worth VND7.66 billion, down 48.3% in volume and 57.2% in value. They sold 894,600 shares, worth VND54.3 billion, down 48% in volume but up 17.5% in value. As a result, foreign investors net sold 633,100 shares, worth VND46.64 billion (down 47.94% in volume but up 64.6% in value).
NCS shares were net bought the most on UPCoM with VND0.4 billion (9,600 shares). On the other hand, ACV and MCH were net sold with VND21.7 billion (0.33 million shares) and nearly VND21 billion (0.18 million shares), respectively.
In total, on the whole market , on August 11, foreign investors net sold 10.31 million shares, worth VND652.24 billion, down 56.7% in volume and 20.85% in value compared to the net selling of VND824.1 billion in the session on August 8.
Although the market continuously set new peaks thanks to overwhelming domestic cash flow, net selling pressure from foreign investors is still a factor that investors need to closely monitor in the coming sessions.
