On May 4, according to a report from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, from April 30 to May 4, the locality welcomed 1,005,160 visitors and vacationers. The average room occupancy rate at accommodation establishments reached 88.1%, with 4-5 star coastal hotels alone reaching over 90%, with many resorts even fully booked during the holiday.

Total revenue from tourists is estimated at VND1,377,457 billion, up 5.41% over the previous year. Of which, international visitors reached 75,605 (up 5.49%), domestic visitors reached 197,550 (up 3.71%).

Mr. Cung Quynh Anh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, said: "The number of visitors has increased, but tourism activities in the area are still orderly and safe. During peak hours, traffic police actively regulate and divert traffic. Businesses strictly comply with regulations on tourism activities."

Cam Ranh International Airport recorded 886 flights with 145,000 passengers, up 4% over the same period. The Cam Lam - Vinh Hao and Van Phong - Nha Trang expressways also play an important role in helping tourists easily travel to Khanh Hoa.

Vinpearl Harbour organizes "Echoes of History" with an art exhibition that lasts the entire month of April.

Traditional tourist attractions such as Ponagar Tower welcome an average of 6,000 visitors per day, Hon Chong 2,800 visitors per day. The Oceanographic Museum recorded about 30,000 visitors, the most crowded on May 1 with more than 9,000 visitors. Eco-tourism areas such as Yang Bay Tourist Park, Ba Ho Tourist Area, Kong Forest, Orchid Island Tourist Area... are also favorite choices of many tourists.

According to Mr. Tran Van Phu, Head of Nha Trang Tourist Wharf Management Department (under Nha Trang Bay Management Board), this holiday, the wharf welcomed 30,000 island tour passengers, most of whom were domestic tourists; international tourists were mainly Korean, Chinese, and Russian.
