Pi Network Price Today 5/5/2025

Pi Network (PI) has fallen about 6% over the past week despite the overall recovery of the cryptocurrency market. The coin’s market capitalization is now just $4.1 billion, reflecting strong selling pressure and weak investor sentiment. If this trend continues, PI could return to its record low near $0.40.

Several technical indicators suggest that the price outlook for PI remains quite negative. The RSI is falling to 39.78, near oversold territory, indicating that selling pressure is increasing and the price is likely to continue to weaken.

In addition, the OBV index also dropped sharply, currently at minus 1.26 billion, equivalent to a 15% decrease in just one week. This shows that money is withdrawing from Pi and buying power is clearly weakening.

The CMF indicator is also currently at minus 0.15, clearly reflecting the dominance of selling pressure.

However, if a trend reversal occurs, PI price could recover to $1.01.

Pi Network quietly "covers" more than 100 countries

While bearish pressure remains dominant, a big bright spot for Pi Network is that the platform is slowly gaining widespread legitimacy.

Specifically, payment company BANXA has just received a KYB license, allowing users in more than 100 countries to directly buy PI with fiat money through the Pi Wallet. The integration comes after Pi officially launched its mainnet (Open Mainnet) on February 20, 2025. This is an important step from P2P trading to a more controlled and transparent form of trading.

This event not only makes Pi more accessible to new users, but also increases legal credibility, especially with hesitant financial institutions.

Many experts expect that after BANXA, exchanges like HTX and BitMart will also list PI soon. This will help improve liquidity, increase trading volume, and enhance Pi's position in the global cryptocurrency market.
