At the 2024 Vietnamese Tet - Street Tet program, the Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board coordinated with cultural researchers to organize simulations of traditional rituals such as the procession offering offerings at the communal house gate, the ceremony to announce to the Thanh Hoang and worship the profession's ancestors, the pole-raising ceremony, etc.

The procession offering offerings at the Communal House starts from the Heritage House at 87 Ma May, passing through Dao Duy Tu Street - O Quan Chuong - Hang Chieu - Hang Giay - Bach Ma Temple - Hang Buom - Ta Hien - Chuong Vang Theater - Hang Bac - Kim Ngan Communal House.

The procession included more than 300 people, including 200 people carrying offerings, mostly teenagers.

The delegation is divided into many groups: the money group, the ceremony group, the offering group, the local groups (Hue art, Phu Tho Xoan singing, Thai Nguyen Then singing...) and the community.

The ceremony of announcing the Thanh Hoang and worshiping the ancestors of the profession is solemnly performed to pray to the gods, especially the Thanh Hoang and the ancestors of the Kim Ngan communal house, for good things in the new year.

The delegation included many traditional craftsmen and this was also an opportunity to pay tribute to the founder of all crafts who is being worshiped at Kim Ngan communal house and pray for a prosperous new year.

The pole-raising ceremony is performed after completing other rituals with the meaning of protecting the land and preventing evil spirits from invading the land, but it has a greater meaning of signaling the arrival of a new spring.

These are Vietnamese rituals recreated by the Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board and the Vietnamese Village Communal House Group with the hope of becoming new traditions of Hanoi Old Quarter.

The series of activities of Tet Viet - Tet Pho 2024 focuses on introducing to the people and tourists the space and traditional Tet celebration lifestyle of Hanoi people, the traditional Tet space of the Northern Delta region, organizing activities to experience folk cultural features such as erecting a pole, wrapping cakes, etc., as well as exchanging and introducing craft village products on the occasion of traditional Tet.

The program ends after the Lunar New Year to serve people to enjoy Tet.
