The Investment Promotion Center, under the Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Dinh province, recently announced that the People's Committee of this province has issued a decision approving the plan to implement the 1/2000 scale zoning plan and demarcate land exploitation along the coastal road section De Gi - My Thanh (Phu My district).
According to the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, the total land fund along the coastal road section De Gi - My Thanh is about 3,000 hectares.
Land funds can be exploited to develop commercial services, tourism, fishery logistics service areas, renovation, and embellishment... with a total land area of over 2,100 hectares. Of which, the newly exploited land area is about 1,500 hectares, the current land area is over 680 hectares.

According to the leaders of Binh Dinh province, in terms of spatial development, construction investment will develop from south to north and from east to west, along the coastal route from De Gi to My Thanh to form areas for land fund development, trade, services, resort tourism, fishery logistics industry, etc.
Regarding technical infrastructure development, the province aims to invest in the construction of inter-regional traffic projects: national coastal routes; east-west routes (extended DT632 road); main roads in areas with a road width of 20-45m to create connections between the national coastal traffic axis and the De Gi lagoon area.
Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, requested the Department of Construction to preside over, review the planning, provide planning content and documents, and specifically notify relevant agencies and units to promote the implementation of the next procedures.

Binh Dinh Provincial leaders requested the presiding unit to regularly urge and monitor the implementation of the plan, report to the Provincial People's Committee every 6 months; annually, review, propose adjustments and supplements to the plan in accordance with the actual situation and investment resources.
Relevant departments, branches and sectors and Phu My District People's Committee, according to their functions and tasks, are responsible for proactively coordinating and implementing related tasks in accordance with regulations, promptly advising, proposing and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and direction of implementation.
Coastal road expands space for commercial and urban development
The coastal road passing through Binh Dinh has its starting point connecting with the coastal road of Quang Ngai province at the border between Binh Dinh and Quang Ngai provinces, and its ending point connecting with the coastal road of Phu Yen province with a length of about 115km. The total investment capital is more than 9,000 billion VND with 8 component projects of 99km long, the remaining 16km of National Highway 1D is used.
In 2023, Binh Dinh province inaugurated the coastal road project, Cat Tien to My Thanh section (Cat Tien - De Gi, De Gi - My Thanh section) with a total length of more than 29km, total investment of more than 1,967 billion VND.
Mr. Luu Nhat Phong, Director of the Traffic Project Management Board of Binh Dinh province, affirmed that when the new coastal route is completed and put into use, it will create a boost, opening up space for tourism, urban development, and marine economy for Binh Dinh in particular and the region in general.
