On the morning of March 20, the Standing Committee of Hoa Lu District Youth Union launched the model of "Public Wifi Point" and "Digital Library" in Thanh Thuong village and Dai Ang village, Ninh Hoa commune.

This is a practical youth project to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; respond to Youth Month 2024; respond to "Peak day of volunteering to join hands in building new rural areas".

To carry out the above project, Hoa Lu District Youth Union mobilized resources, coordinated with VNPT network to install free of charge and support usage fee for 1 year worth 2 million VND. At the village and hamlet cultural houses with public Wifi access points, people coming to the cultural house will be able to use free Wifi, provided with a QR code of library information, when using a smartphone to scan the code, an interface will appear with many categories divided into each field suitable for all ages.

"Digital Library" is a smart library model with over 100 documents, books, stories, like a miniature treasure trove of knowledge that will support union members, youth and people in learning and entertainment; research documents, policies, and laws of the Party and State; improve the quality of collective and community activities.

The launch of the "Public Wifi Point" and "Digital Library" models is a meaningful work of the Youth Union joining hands with the Party Committee and the government in Hoa Lu district to build "smart communes" and "smart villages", contributing to completing the criteria for model residential areas and model new rural communes. At the same time, developing public services for electronic administration via the Internet environment in the district. Demonstrating the spirit of "Hoa Lu Youth in pioneering digital transformation", contributing to improving the quality of learning and entertainment among union members, youth and people.
