The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has also requested units to review, inspect and implement a number of contents on ensuring security, order and traffic safety. At the same time, the Department directed localities to proactively develop plans, arrange sufficient forces, facilities, food and necessary conditions to serve tourists; strictly implement regulations on price posting and selling at the listed price, not increasing prices, not forcing prices, not soliciting customers. Tourist attractions and cultural villages in mountainous districts prepare cultural activities, arts and folk games to serve tourists.

Mr. Tran Trung Kien - Deputy Head of the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Mu Cang Chai district said: "The Department has advised the district to organize cultural, artistic, sports and tourism activities before, during and after the holidays; prioritize organizing activities to experience local culture, increase interaction and exchange with tourists. At the same time, the district has increased propaganda and promotion of tourist areas, resorts, accommodation establishments, homestays, proactively improving the landscape, ensuring facilities and human resources, and developing plans to organize more activities to serve tourists well such as: music nights, campfires, building scenic spots, check-in points... to create new products and improve service quality".

The 30/4 and 1/5 holiday this year lasts 5 days, so since the end of April, many resorts and homestays in the province have been fully booked. Accommodation establishments have proactively implemented the work of renovating the premises, repairing rooms, preparing food sources quite early, and have made thorough investments to meet the increasingly high standards of tourists. Local art troupes have also prepared the most outstanding performances to be ready to exchange cultural activities with tourists.

Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha's family in Yen Ninh ward, Yen Bai city recently had a trip with friends in Son Thinh town, Van Chan district. As someone who loves to explore new lands, Ms. Ha could not have imagined that a short trip right in the province, just over 1 hour drive from where she lives, could be so fun and comfortable.

Ms. Ha shared: "My group has 5 families, including nearly 20 children. We chose Giap Hoai Homestay as our accommodation. Mr. Lo Van Giap - Owner of Giap Hoai Homestay informed: "The homestay has guests every weekend. Especially during the holidays, there will be more guests and longer stays. In addition to preparing clean and beautiful accommodation, I do not increase room rates, focus on the quality of food and drinks as well as changing water and cleaning the swimming pool regularly, leaving a good impression on visitors".

The careful preparation of over 560 accommodation establishments and nearly 40 local tourism activities and events has attracted a large number of tourists to Yen Bai, contributing to enhancing the province's position on the domestic tourism map, creating momentum for an upcoming vibrant summer tourist season.
