Responding to the "Strategic Quartet", Vingroup invests in 2 new development pillars

The two new additional sectors will accompany the three existing pillars of Technology - Industry, Trade Services and Social Volunteering.

Participating in infrastructure construction and clean energy development marks a new era of development for Vingroup, contributing to increasing national competitive advantages and elevating Vietnam's position in the international arena.

In the Infrastructure pillar , Vingroup aims to pioneer the transformation of green transport infrastructure, focusing on the fields of high-speed railways, bridges, ports and logistics.

VinSpeed – High-speed Railway Investment and Development Joint Stock Company – plans to invest in two new routes in 2025: Hanoi – Quang Ninh (120.4 km, shortening travel time from 4 hours to more than 20 minutes) and Ho Chi Minh City – Can Gio (design speed 350 km/h, taking only more than 10 minutes to travel).

VinSpeed has also registered to invest in the North-South high-speed railway project. In parallel, Vingroup will develop port areas and logistics centers in Nam Do Son (Hai Phong) and Vung Ang (Ha Tinh), promoting trade and exports in key economic regions.

In the Green Energy pillar , VinEnergo aims to become an investor and developer of comprehensive renewable energy, contributing to Vietnam's net zero emissions target.

VinEnergo plans to: Implement large-scale solar and wind power projects, applying modern technology. Invest in battery energy storage systems (BESS) manufactured by VinFast, ensuring clean and stable electricity supply. Develop projects in Vietnam, India, Indonesia, and the Philippines with a total expected capacity of up to 80 GW . Provide energy for Vingroup's key infrastructure projects such as high-speed railways, international seaports, industrial parks, and residential areas.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Vingroup - affirmed that in response to the four Resolutions 57, 59, 66, 68 of the Politburo, Vingroup decided to invest in two areas of national development: Infrastructure and Green Energy, with the goal of realizing key national projects, contributing to bringing Vietnam into an era of prosperous development and international reach.

The addition of two new pillars brings Vingroup's total number of areas of operation to five, demonstrating its dedication and mission of "For a better life for everyone", towards a sustainable future for future generations.

After 32 years of development, Vingroup has become the leading multi-industry corporation in the region. As of June 30, 2025, total assets reached VND 964,439 billion; consolidated net revenue and profit after tax in the first 6 months of the year reached VND 130,366 billion and VND 4,509 billion, respectively.

• Technology - Industry : VinFast delivered 72,167 electric cars globally (3.2 times higher than the same period in 2024) and 114,484 electric motorbikes in Vietnam, leading the domestic automobile market.
• Trade and Services : Vinhomes achieved revenue of 67,504 billion VND; Vincom Retail and Vinpearl achieved revenue of 4,274 billion and 5,912 billion VND respectively, many brands are ranked top in Vietnam and the region.
• Social Charity : Vinmec, Vinschool, VinUni hold leading positions in private healthcare and education; Thien Tam Fund has sponsored nearly 30,000 billion VND for charity activities and received the First Class Labor Medal.
