According to the conclusion of the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity, ministries, branches and localities are required to proactively review and handle constructions and real estate that are public assets when arranging and streamlining the apparatus and administrative units; review projects, constructions and headquarters under construction or approved investment policies to avoid loss and waste of state resources and assets after implementing the organizational arrangement of the political system.

Delegates from central and local ministries, branches and sectors focused on analyzing, recommending and proposing plans for the expected use of working headquarters in accordance with the activities of sectors and localities after the arrangement and merger of agencies and administrative units. At the same time, difficulties and problems still arise and need to be resolved to ensure compliance with legal regulations such as: Standards for the arrangement of public accommodation (temporary) during the process of arranging the apparatus...

For projects whose investors are sectors and units that have merged or ceased operations, it is recommended that there be an immediate handling plan to avoid project interruption, directly affecting the progress of the project and disbursement of public investment capital. Surplus offices need to have a plan to transfer to units in need, or to use for social security purposes such as healthcare, schools, community centers, etc. At the same time, there should be a plan to look after, preserve, and avoid degradation of surplus offices while waiting for transfer to the receiving unit.

Based on the opinions and proposals at the conference, the Ministry of Finance will absorb, research, synthesize, and report to competent authorities to have a policy to direct the handling of public works and real estate when arranging and streamlining the apparatus to ensure synchronization and unity nationwide.
