The Vietnamese Bishops' Conference invites the community to continue praying for the protection, strength and peace of Pope Francis and to bless the doctors, specialists and medical staff who are taking care of his health.

The latest update on Pope Francis' health from the Vatican on the evening of February 23 said that his health condition remains critical. However, since last night, he has not had any more shortness of breath.

The Pope was transfused with two units of red blood cell concentrates with positive results and an increase in his hemoglobin level.

His thrombocytopenia remains stable, and some blood tests have shown signs of mild early kidney failure, which is currently under control. He continues to receive high-dose oxygen therapy via a nasal cannula. Pope Francis remains alert and oriented.

Due to the complexity of the clinical condition and the time required for treatment to become effective, a prognosis cannot yet be given.

In the morning, at the apartment located on the 10th floor, Pope Francis attended Mass with those who have been taking care of him in recent days.
