When he was young, Tue often helped his mother look after the internet shop and gradually became interested in computers without realizing it. In grade 2, he participated in the Mathematical Violympic competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Training and won an encouragement prize. In grades 8 and 9, the student continued to try his hand at the provincial Youth Informatics competition and also won an encouragement prize.

Receiving a full scholarship from Chi Lang High School, the student from An Khe town enrolled in Pleiku city. In addition to his time in class, he is passionate about learning more about algorithms and computer programming.

In the programming knowledge section of the Hour of Code 2024 competition, Tue used the programming languages ​​C/C++, Python, and Pascal to solve problems. In the creative software design section, Tue competed alone with the Deepfake Recognition Software (DRS) virtual recognition software while most of the products were made in groups. "Deepfake is a new and developing technology. Currently, many bad guys are taking advantage of this technology to create fake videos for the purpose of fraud and property appropriation. Therefore, I want to try to research smarter recognition software," Tue said.

Having worked with Vo Dang Tue for the past 3 years, Mr. Dong Anh Duong, a Computer Science teacher, is very impressed with Tue's programming thinking and ability to self-study, explore, and be creative. According to Mr. Duong, being good at Math is the premise that helps Tue easily conquer Computer Science.

Talking about her future dreams, Tue hopes to win a scholarship to study abroad in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and become an AI engineer.

In the near future, Tue and some students from the school will participate in the final round of the 2024 Central Highlands Informatics Olympiad in Da Nang City; the 28th 30-4 Traditional Olympiad in 2024 in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and the Hue-ICT Challenge 2024 programming contest in Thua Thien - Hue province.
