Divided into 4 parts, “Nguyet Lang - Literature and Life” includes works of poetry, prose, music, images, stele and funeral orations. The book includes many different genres, each part has its own color but all focus on a common theme praising the beauty of the poor countryside, where there are honest, generous and affectionate farmers. Each page in “Nguyet Lang - Literature and Life” is not simply words but also a concentration of emotions, ordinary but meaningful stories. The author has expressed the aspirations of the people here, from difficulties and deprivation to great dreams. Reader Pham Thi Hoai Thuong in Tan Dong ward, Dong Xoai city shared: I almost only know Nguyet Lang through poetry, but only when I held the book "Nguyet Lang - Literature and Life", the more I read, the more I see that his work is a process of collecting and accumulating knowledge and life experiences, so that it "gets more and more mature". I like Nguyet Lang to go back in time and pour out his heart on the pages, writing about missing his childhood and relatives. At those moments, his poems are so sincere, whispering and close: "My house is far from the village market/ My mother carries cabbages across three fields/ Had to cross a whole river/ Tiny in the vastness is the ferry/ The gift of a piece of cake my mother gave/ To me, it is my whole sweet childhood" (excerpt from "The Ferry of Childhood").

It helps readers better understand the history, culture and people of Binh Phuoc, a land that not only has beautiful scenery but also historical sites, resilient people, full of love and pride. “Cycling around the mountain town/ Taking you to find a deep sleep/ Worrying between the clouds and hair/ Who leans towards the full lake/ My heart wants to tell you many times/ With you a word of love/ So that in my dreams you can come back to sleep/ Sleep peacefully between the hair and clouds” (excerpt from “Phuoc Long Mountain Town”).

Born in Ben Tre and living in the East, few people know that Nguyet Lang is the author of the poem “Bitter ground vegetables” which was composed by musician Bac Son into the lyrics for the famous song “Con thuong rau dang moc sau he”. In his literary career in general and Binh Phuoc in particular, author Nguyet Lang has made many valuable contributions and left a deep impression on readers. He has participated in and won many high awards in writing competitions, typically winning first prize for poetry and short stories for two consecutive years (2010-2011) organized by the Binh Phuoc Literature and Arts Association.

The book “Nguyet Lang - Literature and Life” is a collection of valuable documents left by the author, including epitaphs, essays, poems set to music, poems, commemorative photos, etc. The book is not only a gift of gratitude and remembrance for the deceased, but also aims to honor the predecessors who had creative activities and sacrificed on the land of Binh Phuoc with great affection.
