On the afternoon of April 9, the Korea Football Association (KFA) announced the composition of the 55th Executive Committee, with a series of notable changes in personnel and organizational structure.

Accordingly, the President of the Korean Football Association announced a list of 27 senior personnel including Vice Presidents, heads of departments and members. Of which, two coaches Park Hang Seo and Shin Tae Yong were appointed to the KFA Vice President group.

The KFA Vice President Group consists of five members. Mr. Park Hang Seo holds the position of Vice President in charge of supporting the national team. Mr. Shin Tae Yong holds the position of Vice President in charge of foreign cooperation. There are also Kim Byung-ji (President of Gangwon FC), Shin Jeong-sik (President of Jeonnam Federation) and Professor Lee Yong-soo (Sejong University).

Coach Park Hang Seo's representative company, DJ Management, announced: "We are pleased to announce that Mr. Park Hang Seo has been appointed as the new vice president of the KFA. With his extensive experience and expertise in the field of football, Mr. Park will play an important advisory role in the decisions of the national team and contribute to enhancing the image of the KFA.

Besides, being the "boss" of a big organization like KFA, Coach Park Hang Seo may also help Korean football and Vietnamese football have a better relationship.

Currently, Coach Park Hang Seo runs the football academy named after himself in Vietnam. The Korean strategist is also a senior advisor for the Bac Ninh Club.

In the past, Coach Park Hang Seo led the Vietnamese team from 2017 to 2023. He helped the "Golden Dragons" create a brilliant era of success on many levels.

Some titles include runner-up of the U23 Asian Cup, reaching the semi-finals of the 2018 Asian Games (U23 group), winning the 2018 AFF Cup, and reaching the quarter-finals of the 2019 Asian Cup (national team level).
