The power plant will change the wiring and reverse the direction. Which plant generates, increases or decreases power will be directed by the National Power System Control Center (A0). Regarding the 500 kV line, circuit 1 brings power from the North to the South; circuit 2 brings power from the South to the Central region, and circuit 3 continues to bring power from the Central region to the North. If the North uses a lot, the South will push it out; if the South uses a lot, the North will push it in. The system will automatically adjust the frequency according to the load system.

The 500 kV line 3 extension project is 514 km long, connecting Quang Trach to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) with a total investment of 23,000 billion VND. This project was approved in the master plan 8 to carry out inter-regional power transmission to the North, increasing power supply capacity.
