On the evening of August 9, the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense coordinated with the Hanoi Party Committee, Hue Party Committee, and Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to organize the political and artistic television program "Under the glorious flag" on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945/August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945/September 2, 2025).

The program aims to honor historical values, cultural beauty, and noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; inspire revolutionary ideals, convey responsibility, faith, and aspiration to contribute to the younger generation. The highlight of the program is the fusion of expressive art and modern performance technology. A program connected not only by television signals, but also by the sacred context of the national soul: From the capital of a thousand years of culture, to the ancient capital with the quintessence of traditional culture, to the dynamic city named after Uncle Ho. The program weaves a vivid picture of a Vietnam united in diversity, harmoniously united in identity. The program structure is divided into chapters: “The Flag of Faith”, “For the People, Selflessness”, “The Oath of Faith” and “Under the Glorious Flag” – each part is an emotional slice, telling the story of loyalty, camaraderie, silent sacrifice and the desire for peace and development. At the show, immortal epics are renewed, staged in a modern way, performed by leading Vietnamese artists, connecting the past, present and future. All create a multi-layered artistic space, where the audience not only watches, but also lives in history, emotions and pride. The program’s message is clearly depicted: “Under the glorious flag, we are one – One nation. One belief. One will. One aspiration”. That belief continues to light up the journey of nation building in the new era – where each citizen is a messenger of peace, development and civic responsibility. A beautiful picture at the show.
