The parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day is a major event that is eagerly awaited by people across the country. Along with plans to ensure security and order of departments and sectors, a detailed and specific plan to ensure medical work has also been developed by the Ministry of Health .
Dr. Ha Anh Duc - Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management (Ministry of Health ) said that the Ministry of Health has issued plan No. 1105/KH-BYT covering all areas related to health, from ensuring food safety, epidemic prevention, possible situations, including issues related to disasters.
The Ministry of Health mobilized thousands of medical staff to join hundreds of medical teams on duty in all areas, from central areas to places where the parades passed through, and deployed inspection teams on the environment, food safety, and epidemic prevention before the grand ceremony took place...
In addition, the Ministry of Health, in coordination with the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Hanoi People's Committee, directed medical examination and treatment facilities to ensure emergency and medical examination and treatment on duty during the celebration, specifically including activities such as: Directing and guiding medical examination and treatment facilities to organize emergency and medical examination and treatment on duty throughout the activities.
Relevant units organize and arrange medical teams to provide emergency care, medical examination and treatment, health care, and detect cases of infectious diseases for delegates, guests, staff serving the Anniversary Ceremony, parades, and people.
Medical units ensure adequate lists of medicines, equipment, and consumables to equip medical teams; Ambulances according to regulations of the Ministry of Health; Direct some hospitals to prepare 5-10 hospital beds in case of unusual situations.
Medical forces were deployed evenly from the center of Ba Dinh to the wards and communes, where people from the localities stood to cheer on the parades and marches passing by...
According to Dr. Ha Anh Duc, it is impossible for ambulances to enter streets where parades and processions are taking place. Because there are so many people, the ambulances cannot move.
Therefore, the Ministry of Health tries to arrange for mobile medical teams in medical tents on the roads to ensure that when people have simple emergency problems or need initial health care, these medical teams will be able to perform their tasks immediately or guide support forces to take people to the nearest medical facility if the medical tents cannot handle the situation./.
