Amidst the majestic Central Highlands, the red land of Dak Nong not only has vast forests and unique gong culture, but also possesses a global geopark, home to the longest volcanic cave system in Southeast Asia.
In particular, the Krong No Volcanic Cave Global Geopark – Dak Nong is a place where typical values of geology, geomorphology, archaeology, culture and biodiversity characteristic of the region converge.
Through the lens of author Tran Tam My, let's explore the Krong No Volcano Cave Global Geopark - Dak Nong from the Album "Journey to conquer the Krong No Volcano Cave Global Geopark - Dak Nong" to see the majesty and many mysteries of nature. The work was submitted to the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam", organized by the Department of Foreign Information, Ministry of Information and Communications.
Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark was established in 2015, with an area of over 4,700km2, accounting for more than 2/5 of the natural area of Dak Nong province, spanning 06 districts and towns of the province. In the Geopark area, there are also paleontological heritages such as fossils of Ammonites, Clams, Bivalves... to prove that at this time this place was still part of the vast ocean.
