Assigning tasks to Working Group No. 09 to visit Truong Sa archipelago and DKI platform

On the afternoon of April 12, in Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa Province, the Navy held a conference to disseminate and assign tasks to Working Group No. 09 to visit Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 platform.

Delegation No. 09 consists of 205 delegates from a number of localities, agencies and enterprises. The delegation from Quang Ninh province has 39 members, led by Comrade Vi Ngoc Bich, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

At the conference, the members of the delegation were informed about the schedule as well as the work of ensuring maritime safety during the trip. According to the planned 7-day schedule, the delegation will visit the islands: Song Tu Tay, Da Nui Thi, Sinh Ton, Co Lin, Len Dao, Da Tay A, Truong Sa and the DKI/19 platform (Que Duong) with a total round trip length of about 1,000 nautical miles.

Quang Ninh province delegation donated money to build a community cultural house on Thuyen Chai island.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and armed forces of Quang Ninh province, comrade Vi Ngoc Bich, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, presented 33 billion VND to the army and people of Truong Sa island district to build 3 community cultural houses on Thuyen Chai island.

On the same morning, the delegation of Quang Ninh province joined delegation No. 09 to visit the Gac Ma soldiers' monument, offer incense at the spiritual park, Linh Nguyen pagoda and Brigade 189.
