On the afternoon of April 9, Director of the Department of Construction Phan Nhat Thanh inspected the field to urge the progress of implementation and disbursement of projects invested by the People's Committee of Dak R'lap district.

Mr. Phan Nhat Thanh inspected the traffic project from National Highway 14 through Provincial Road 6, Dak R'lap District. The project has a total investment of 98 billion VND. To date, the project has disbursed nearly 53 billion VND. The project implementation period is from 2022 to 2025.

In 2025 alone, the project was allocated over 45 billion VND. To date, the disbursement rate has only reached 0.7% of the plan. According to the investor, difficulties in project implementation are support measures for cases where land is recovered.

This leads to difficulties in compensation, support and resettlement. Proposing and calculating support prices for intercropping and over-density crops still has shortcomings.

The traffic project from Provincial Road 6 to Kien Duc town through Kien Thanh - Nhan Co - Dak Wer communes has a total investment of 86 billion VND. To date, the project has disbursed 52.3 billion VND, reaching 60% of the capital plan.

The current difficulty in implementing the project is still site clearance. According to the investor's calculation, the compensation plan for the project is nearly 27 billion VND.

Meanwhile, the total approved compensation cost of the project is only 15 billion VND. The excess land clearance cost has led to difficulties in compensation and support for housing and construction works on the land.

On the same day, Mr. Phan Nhat Thanh came to inspect the progress of repairing the landslide on Ho Chi Minh road through Nghia Thanh ward, Gia Nghia city.

After grasping the progress, difficulties and obstacles at the projects, Director of the Department of Construction Phan Nhat Thanh requested investors and contractors to work overtime and increase shifts to speed up the disbursement progress.

Every week, investors must report progress to the Department of Construction so that the unit can promptly report to the Provincial People's Committee.

In case of difficulties in site clearance, the investor shall coordinate with local authorities to promote propaganda and mobilize people in the project area to support the State's policy.

For any problems related to any department, investors should report to the Department of Construction to advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct departments and branches to coordinate in handling.

Regarding the landslide incident on Ho Chi Minh road through Gia Nghia city, the Director of the Department of Construction requested the BOT investor Duc Long to quickly complete the related documents for repair and remediation.

By December 2025 at the latest, the investor must carry out troubleshooting work and strive to complete the project for traffic opening in 2026.
