Overview of the working session.
The pig farm of Agri-Vina Agricultural Investment Joint Stock Company was established at the end of 2023. After a period of operation, local authorities and functional forces received feedback from people about the environmental pollution at this pig farm. Faced with the above situation, the Provincial People's Committee issued a directive document related to the incident. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment and related units coordinated with the People's Committee of Lang Chanh district, the People's Committee of Lang Chanh town, and the People's Committee of Tan Phuc commune to work with the leaders of Agri-Vina Agricultural Investment Joint Stock Company and inspected the actual environmental protection work of the pig farm of Agri-Vina Agricultural Investment Joint Stock Company to propose solutions.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Giang and the delegation inspected the pig farm of Agri-Vina Agricultural Investment Joint Stock Company. The delegation noted that the farm is raising over 20,000 pigs weighing from 40kg to 100kg. Some rows of barns are empty because the pigs have been sold.
The people's recent complaints about the pig farming activities of Agri-Vina Agricultural Investment Joint Stock Company causing bad odors and affecting the surrounding environment are correct. The reason is that the management and operation of gas generators are not in accordance with the process, leading to biogas leaking into the environment; the odor-blocking mesh behind the barns is open and not tightly sealed; the exhaust gas and bad odors from some barn locations are not treated or minimized; the use of chemicals and biological products to treat and minimize the odors in the barns is not guaranteed in the dosage.

Local authorities and functional forces have also stepped in to review and handle the company's responsibility, but the above situation has not been resolved, causing resentment among the people, leading to complaints and crowds gathering in front of the farm.
