World oil prices
On the morning of August 14, 2025 (Vietnam time), Brent oil price decreased by 1.21% to 65.32 USD/barrel, WTI decreased by 1.42% to 62.27 USD/barrel. The Trump-Putin meeting on August 15 in Alaska and the possibility of sanctions against Russia affected the market.
The IEA forecasts a rising oil surplus, with US output peaking at 13.41 million barrels per day this year, but declining by 2026.
