Family takes 22 billion VND jackpot winner back to hometown

On October 7, speaking with a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Ly Sang (owner of Ly Sang lottery agency in Hoc Mon district, Ho Chi Minh City) confirmed that the information about a street lottery seller winning 22 billion VND is true.

Mr. Sang said: "The lottery ticket seller from the West, has a leg disability and took my lottery tickets to sell. On October 6, he was holding dozens of tickets, and in the afternoon he almost fainted because he won 11 jackpot tickets and 4 consolation tickets from the Lam Dong Provincial Lottery Company. After that, he gave one jackpot ticket to someone with him and 2 consolation tickets to 2 female lottery ticket sellers."

According to Mr. Ly Sang, the lottery winner sent him 10 winning tickets and 2 consolation tickets. "By the morning of October 7, I had completed the procedures to receive the prize, transferred the money and my family went to Ho Chi Minh City to take him back to his hometown."

Mr. Ly Sang said this is not the first time someone has won the jackpot at his agency, but there have been many people who have won from a few tickets to more than 10 tickets.
