GELEX Electricity Joint Stock Company (HoSE: GEE - GELEX Electric) has just announced the decision to appoint Mr. Le Ba Tho as Chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD) from March 25. Before being appointed, Mr. Tho was a member of the Board of Directors of this company.

Mr. Le Ba Tho was born in 1981, has a bachelor's degree in accounting and auditing, and a master's degree in business administration. He has nearly 20 years of experience in finance and business administration and has held many important management positions in many enterprises.

Mr. Tho is currently Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of GELEX Group (parent company of GELEX Electric Company).

In addition, Mr. Tho is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of GELEX Infrastructure JSC, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Electric Cable Corporation CADIVI; Chairman of the Board of Directors of Long Son Petroleum Investment JSC and a member of the Board of Directors of Viglacera Corporation - JSC.

Mr. Tho has made important contributions to the GELEX system. He is the leader leading the construction of a financial and management foundation throughout the entire GELEX system.

The Board of Directors of GELEX Electric for the 2025-2030 term currently has 5 members, including: Mr. Le Ba Tho (Chairman of the Board of Directors) and 4 members: Mr. Dang Phan Tuong, Mr. Do Duy Hung, Mr. Nguyen Trong Trung and Mr. Nguyen Duc Luyen.

In 2025, GELEX Electric targets consolidated net revenue of VND 22,282 billion; consolidated pre-tax profit of VND 1,686 billion, up 5.5% and down 21.6% respectively compared to 2024.

In the first quarter of 2025, GELEX Electric's consolidated net revenue is estimated to reach about VND 4,800 billion, exceeding the quarterly plan by 10% and increasing by 30% over the same period in 2024. Consolidated pre-tax profit is estimated to reach VND 465 billion, exceeding the quarterly plan by 102% and increasing by 215% over the same period in 2024.
