Athletes are gathering at VTTU's Sun God Square
On the morning of April 28, nearly 7,500 athletes representing departments, sectors, organizations, people, and high school students in Hau Giang province and the Mekong Delta provinces, including 52 disabled athletes from Hau Giang province, participated in this tournament.

The program "VTTU - WE ARE ONE" (We are one) organized by the school aims to fuel the spirit, increase the will, strength... and raise awareness, sharing, and love of the community for people with disabilities, contributing to eliminating the barriers that people with disabilities face every day in integrating into the community.
Through the program, the school hopes to support funds for disabled people, including high school students and disabled people in Hau Giang province, who participate in the cross-country race.
Disabled athletes participate in the tournament
As part of the community service cooperation content of the Comprehensive Cooperation Memorandum signed between the People's Committee of Hau Giang province and Vo Truong Toan University, the program is organized as a community event, encouraging the participation of the whole society.
This is an opportunity to meet and exchange for sports lovers who want to improve their health, physical fitness and mental health through running with people with disabilities.
Athletes experience the journey together
The running route is uniquely designed and safe, athletes can admire the beauty of the school's European architectural works and the Ti & Ni amusement park. Creating a beautiful picture, where "every step you take is strength, faith, and hope for people with disabilities".

In particular, through the cross-country running activity, each participating athlete contributed to the fund to give to 52 disabled athletes from Hau Giang province participating in the tournament with a total amount of 130 million VND.
Mr. Dong Van Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang province presented the support fund to disabled athletes.
The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the first, second and third place male and female athletes in the 2km and 5km races.

The school also awarded scholarships worth up to 4 billion VND to the first 20 students to finish each running distance upon enrolling at the school.

The event spread a strong spiritual message to the disabled community: "Do difficult things while they are easy and do great things while they are small.
