Facebook “dies” on a large scale

At around 10:20 p.m. on March 5, users' Facebook and Messenger accounts were suddenly logged out on the web version and applications.

Specifically, when users connect to this social network, they are "kicked" out and cannot log back in. According to the social network health monitoring site Downdetector, more than 100,000 users worldwide have reported errors on the Facebook social network platform.

Not only in Vietnam, this serious incident occurred globally; not only on users' personal Facebook pages but also on different Facebook platforms (on web and mobile) and the Messenger messaging app, and the photo-based social network Instagram.

It can be said that this is the biggest incident ever of this social network, in terms of scope and time to handle the incident.

By 11:20 p.m., Meta's services were gradually restored.
