Contributing to People's Public Security Sports, T&T Group was honored

On the afternoon of August 20, 2024, at the PVF Football Training Center - Ministry of Public Security (Van Giang district - Hung Yen province), the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association held a ceremony to honor and reward collectives and individual coaches and athletes with outstanding achievements in the People's Public Security Sports.

At the event, T&T Group was honored to receive the Diamond Companion title, recognizing the group's positive and effective contributions to the sports movement of the Public Security Forces. On this occasion, the Public Security - T&T Table Tennis Club also received an award for its outstanding achievements in 2024.

At the end of May 2024, the CAND - T&T Table Tennis Club was established after the Vietnam CAND Sports Association and T&T Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the selection and training of table tennis athletes to compete for the CAND force. Right at the 2024 National Table Tennis Championship, the CAND - T&T Table Tennis Club made a big splash when it won 2 gold medals and 3 silver medals, far exceeding the set target. Previously, the police table tennis sector had never won a gold medal at the national tournament. However, the cooperative relationship with T&T Group has helped raise the level of CAND table tennis, helping the police table tennis sector achieve historic achievements.

Next, at the 2024 National Youth, Teenager and Children's Table Tennis Tournament, the CAND - T&T Table Tennis Club excellently won the overall first place with 13 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 10 bronze medals. In early August 2024, T&T Group awarded nearly 1.5 billion VND to encourage and motivate the spirit, as well as to recognize the contributions of Coach Vu Manh Cuong and excellent students such as Dinh Anh Hoang, Tran Mai Ngoc, Le Dinh Duc..., a record bonus in the Vietnamese table tennis village.

According to Mr. Do Vinh Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of T&T Group, the impressive achievements that the CAND - T&T Table Tennis Club has achieved in recent times have proven that the decision to cooperate between the Vietnam CAND Sports Association and T&T Group is completely correct and effective at the present time and in line with future trends, both domestically and internationally. These are important starting points, a turning point for a special model of socialization and professionalization.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the CAND Sports Association emphasized that in recent years, physical education and sports activities in the CAND have achieved many important results. Many professional sports clubs have been established and participated in domestic and international competitions such as: Hanoi Police Football Club, PVF - CAND; CAND - T&T Table Tennis Club... Although some teams have just been established and put into operation, they have achieved commendable achievements.

The President of the Public Security Sports Association thanked the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Physical Training and Sports, national sports federations and associations, and sponsors for the physical training and sports work of the Public Security in particular, and the work of ensuring security, order, and building the Public Security force in general over the past time; hoping to continue to receive the attention and support of units in all aspects of work.

The Chairman of the People's Public Security Sports Association also suggested that the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association coordinate with functional units to actively mobilize social resources to participate in developing physical education and sports activities of the People's Public Security force, soon making the People's Public Security Sports one of the spearhead units of the country's sports, contributing to the development of professional sports and high-performance sports.
