On the afternoon of May 23, Military Hospital 175 held a Conference of Delegates of the Hospital's Young Physicians Association (2024 - 2028). The conference aimed to evaluate the work results of the Hospital's Young Physicians Association over the past 5 years (2019 - 2024) and determine the direction, goals, and tasks of the Association in the next 4 years (2024 - 2028).

Attending the Conference were Dr. Phan Minh Hoang - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Physicians Association, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Occupational Diseases and Rehabilitation Hospital. On the side of Military Hospital 175, there were Major General, Dr. Tran Quoc Viet, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Hospital; Senior Lieutenant Colonel Bui Duc Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Hospital and representatives of the leaders of the Departments, Offices, Boards, Centers and Institutes, along with 150 outstanding delegates, representing more than 1,500 staff and members of the young physician association in the Hospital.

The Conference of the Young Physicians Association of Military Hospital 175 took place in the context of the Hospital actively competing to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the Hospital's founding (May 26, 1975 - May 26, 2024). This is a broad political activity for the young generation - a large force, the future owners of the Hospital, making positive contributions to building the Hospital into a specialized medical facility of the whole country, actively participating in the work of caring for and protecting the health of soldiers and people.

Conference to vote for the Executive Committee of the Association for the 2024-2028 term

The report at the Conference showed that, in the 2019 - 2024 term, the Young Doctors Association of Military Hospital 175 has focused on deploying and implementing well 5 contents: Pioneering; Creative; Good expertise - Rich in medical ethics; Actively transforming digitally; Researching on new medical examination and treatment regulations.

At the conference, a number of young doctors shared about their professional work, their experiences and lessons learned in the process of examining and treating patients, as well as their aspirations and difficulties. However, the common point of these young doctors is the pioneering spirit of youth, the constant effort to improve their professional knowledge and medical ethics.

Doctor Nguyen Doan Thai Hung, Department of Cardiovascular Intervention, said that in the early stages of working at the Hospital, Doctor Hung himself and his young colleagues encountered many difficulties. However, overcoming those initial challenges, with the knowledge gained from formal training, working in an environment with a system of modern facilities and equipment, with the guidance and support of senior colleagues, and the Hospital having a good risk control process, the young medical staff of the Hospital have demonstrated and promoted their full capacity. Doctor Hung also hopes that in the coming time, the young doctors of the Hospital will always uphold the spirit of determination, dedication, and not be afraid of difficulties. At the same time, he expressed his wish that the Hospital's leadership will continue to support and create the most favorable conditions for the young generation of the Hospital to promote their comprehensive capacity, contributing to the development of the Hospital.

Speaking at the Conference, Major General, Dr. Tran Quoc Viet, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Hospital acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of all members of the Young Doctors Association of the Hospital over the past time. The Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Hospital believe that with the efforts and striving of the staff and members of the Young Doctors Association, the attention and leadership of the Party Committee, the commander, the Board of Directors of the Hospital, together with the determination of each doctor in the coming years, they will continue to have steps of development, maturity and actively contribute to the Party Committee and commanders at all levels to successfully complete their tasks.

In the 2024 - 2029 term, in order to build a strong, comprehensive, in-depth and quality Hospital Young Physicians Association, especially in the context of building the Hospital into a multi-functional, specialized medical complex, on par with the region, comrade Tran Quoc Viet suggested that the Conference should focus on implementing the following main tasks: Continue to thoroughly grasp the Resolution of the Hospital Party Congress, focusing on developing high-quality human resources, developing solid specialties and mastering new technical equipment. Along with that, the hospital's medical staff needs to constantly improve their professional qualifications, respond to the development of science and technology, have the ability to master modern scientific and technical means, serve the increasingly high demands of the Hospital, especially the work of medical examination, treatment, and health care for cadres, soldiers and people.

Comrade Tran Quoc Viet also reminded the young medical staff of the Hospital to deeply understand the mission, vision and core values ​​of Military Hospital 175 to join hands in building the Hospital to develop more and more. He emphasized the mission of the Hospital is to care for and protect the health of soldiers and people in all situations; train and develop high-quality human resources; enhance the position and image of the army and the military medical sector domestically and internationally. The vision of the Hospital is to become a multi-functional, specialized, modern medical complex, on par with the region and reaching the international level. The core values ​​lie in 4 contents: dedication, understanding, solidarity and discipline.

On behalf of the Hospital Board of Directors, comrade Tran Quoc Viet affirmed that the Hospital is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for young doctors to develop their expertise in the best working environment.

At the Conference, delegates elected the Executive Committee for the 2024 - 2028 term with 9 comrades./.
