Master Nguyen Thanh Minh, Chief of Office of the Center for Training Cadres and Scientific Research, Head of the project, said that the Front Work Committee in the residential area is the "extended arm" of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level. This is the level closest to the people, where all Party guidelines are directly implemented; State policies and laws, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front's unified action coordination program; where democracy is practiced and the people's mastery is promoted. The content of the Front Work Committee's activities is very diverse, but no ministerial-level scientific work has studied it comprehensively, as a basis for evaluating and proposing solutions to improve the quality of the Front Work Committee's activities in the residential area. Based on the above analysis, the research on the topic "Solutions to improve the quality of the Front Work Committee's activities in the residential area at the present stage" has profound theoretical and practical significance; contribute practically to the innovation of the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, meeting the requirements and demands in the new situation.

The research topic includes 3 chapters: Theoretical and practical issues on the quality of activities of the Front Work Committee in residential areas today; the current situation of organization, staff and quality of activities of the Front Work Committee in residential areas; directions and solutions to improve the quality of activities of the Front Work Committee in residential areas until 2030.

At the acceptance conference, the Acceptance Council said that this was a rather elaborate and detailed research project, demonstrating the serious working spirit of the Project Manager and members. The project clearly defined the research purpose, proposed directions and solutions to improve operational efficiency until 2030 on the basis of clarifying the current activities of the Front Work Committee in the residential area. The approach and structure of the project met the requirements. The project achieved positive, elaborate research results, with many specific figures, recorded in both theoretical and practical aspects, with clear effects on the Front Work Committees in the residential area.

Acknowledging the comments at the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Nguyen Huu Dung suggested that the research team continue to complete the contributed contents, and at the same time review and reconsider the existing shortcomings and limitations to edit and supplement research documents and complete the topic.

The research on the topic has helped the Front Work Committee in the residential area to improve the quality of its activities in the coming time. This is an urgent issue that the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress also set out for the Front, which is to innovate the organizational structure, innovate the content and methods of operation; enhance the responsibility of the Front staff and member organizations. In particular, there is a requirement to focus on the grassroots and residential areas. Therefore, the research on this topic is urgent.

Vice Chairman Nguyen Huu Dung suggested that the project management board fully absorb the opinions of scientists at the conference. Regarding the urgency of the project, it is necessary to add the Party's policy on innovation in the content and organization of the Front's cadre apparatus. That is, focusing on the grassroots and residential areas. In addition, it is necessary to add the characteristics of residential areas.
