At the ceremony, representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded the Certificate of Fire Dancing Ceremony of the Pa Then people as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage to representatives of Lam Binh district leaders.

The Pa Then people's fire dancing festival is one of the long-standing traditional festivals in Hong Quang commune (Lam Binh) and is held once a year.

According to tradition, every year at the end of September and the beginning of October, right at the time of harvesting the ripe rice crop, the Pa Then people in Lam Binh district organize a traditional fire dancing festival.

This is a beautiful feature in the spiritual and cultural life of the Pa Then people. For the Pa Then people, the highest god is the god of Fire, because fire brings them luck and prosperity.

Within the framework of the Reception Ceremony, Hong Quang commune organized many games, cultural activities, and artistic exchanges imbued with the cultural identity of ethnic groups, attracting the participation of a large number of people and tourists.

The inclusion of the Pa Then Fire Dancing Festival in the national list of intangible cultural heritage affirms the efforts of authorities at all levels and people of Lam Binh district in preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage in the area.
