Regarding the plastics industry, Mr. Chung Tan Cuong - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Plastics Association - said: The technology factor has a huge impact on the development of the plastics industry. New technology is contributing to the creation of products with superior features and high quality, meeting aesthetic requirements as well as safety and friendliness in use. And the development of foam technology highlights the commitment to applying products that are not only effective but also responsible for the environment.

According to Mr. Cuong, the plastic industry globally as well as in Vietnam is undergoing changes in the direction of gradually eliminating old technology and equipment, replacing them with advanced equipment, using new material technology to ensure quality, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards according to Vietnamese and international regulations.

Responding to the trends of industries and manufacturing, Interfoam Vietnam Exhibition (Interfoam Vietnam 2023) was held for the first time at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
