Japanese, Chinese, Singaporean investors... pour money into building warehouses and seaports
On August 20, the Logicross Nam Thuan warehouse, invested by Mitsubishi Estate Vietnam Co., Ltd., was inaugurated. The project is built on a scale of more than 6.2 hectares, with a total investment capital of over 1,000 billion VND, located in Nam Thuan Industrial Park.
The move by this enterprise continues the wave of attracting strategic investors from Japan to the province. Specifically, the province is known to have just introduced a list of priority areas calling for investment, focusing especially on capital flows from Japan in early August.
After the merger, Tay Ninh has taken on a new stature, becoming the industrial, service and modern urban center of the region. To date, the whole province has 1,900 FDI projects, with a total capital of over 24 billion USD, and nearly 3,100 domestic projects with a registered capital of nearly 700,000 billion VND. Japan alone is an important partner with about 173 projects, with a total registered capital of over 1.2 billion USD, ranking 4th out of 40 countries and territories investing in the province.
Previously, on July 30, Long An International Port (Tan Tap Commune, Tay Ninh New Area) also signed a cooperation agreement with Shandong Port Group (SPG Bohaiwan Port, China) and Bohwa Shiping Company (headquartered in Singapore).
According to the agreement, the three parties will cooperate to build a green and modern logistics corridor, integrating port operations, maritime transport and logistics services. The parties will strengthen cooperation in focused areas, such as expanding the route network on the basis of consolidating and improving the existing general cargo transport services of Long An International Port ....

A series of real estate giants VinGroup , Ecopark, T&T... are rushing to make projects.
Besides infrastructure, logistics, industrial parks… Tay Ninh is also one of the localities attracting strong investment in the Southern region.
In the first 7 months of the year, the province has approved and started many large-scale projects such as the Duc Hoa - Hau Nghia new urban area of nearly 200 hectares with a total investment of more than 28,000 billion VND; the Tan My new urban area of 930 hectares, capital of nearly 74,500 billion VND (about 3 billion USD); or the T&T Minelium urban area of 267 hectares...
Notably, Phuoc Vinh Tay New Urban Area with a scale of nearly 1,100 hectares and a total investment capital of up to 80,000 billion VND (more than 3 billion USD) invested by Vingroup in Phuoc Vinh Tay commune, Tay Ninh province, officially started construction on August 19.
At the end of March, Vingroup also started construction of Vinhomes Green City in Duc Hoa - a complex urban area of nearly 200 hectares, with a total capital of more than VND 28,000 billion. In addition to this project, in Tay Ninh (formerly Long An), Vingroup also plans to implement two other mega projects: Phuoc Vinh Tay urban area of nearly 1,090 hectares with a capital of more than VND 90,000 billion and Tan My new urban area of 930 hectares, with a capital of nearly VND 74,500 billion.
Just 3 Vingroup projects currently being implemented in Tay Ninh have accounted for more than 192,500 billion VND (about 7.7 billion USD), far exceeding other real estate markets in the South (except Ho Chi Minh City).
Not only Vingroup, Ecopark is also targeting the Tay Ninh market with the 220-hectare Eco Reatreat project in Ben Luc, with a total investment of 17,000 billion VND. Or T&T Group is implementing the T&T Millennia urban area with a scale of 267 hectares in Can Giuoc commune, with an investment capital of 41,000 billion VND...
Welcoming the new wave of strong investment, the provincial representative emphasized that the locality will accompany businesses and remove procedural obstacles so that the project can be implemented on schedule. The leader also requested the investor to focus resources, complete the infrastructure by 2027 and put the entire urban area into operation by 2030.
Mr. Huynh Van Son, Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, said that the province has an extremely important strategic position, being the center of economic and cultural exchange between the two regions of the East and the Southwest. In the past 6 months, the province's GRDP increased by 9.63% - the highest in the period 2021-2025; investment promotion has been promoted, the province has welcomed many large corporations and investors.
From July 1, 2025, according to the Resolution of the National Assembly, the two provinces of Long An and Tay Ninh officially merged, forming a new administrative unit named Tay Ninh province.
With a total area of over 8,500km2 and a population of over 3.2 million people, Tay Ninh is becoming a prominent Industrial - Commercial and Logistics Center of the Southern key economic region.
