Identifying the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" (TDĐKXDĐSVH) as a condition to preserve and promote the good traditional values ​​of the nation, build a civilized lifestyle, and contribute to the effective implementation of the National Target Program on new rural construction. In recent times, Thanh Son district has become a bright spot in building and maintaining the development of the TDĐKXDĐSVH movement .

To build a healthy cultural environment and improve the quality of the movement to build a cultural life at the grassroots level, the district focuses on implementing the movement to build a cultural life in association with implementing resolutions and directives on culture and building culture in the political system, in each village, hamlet, sub-district, agency, unit, enterprise and each family.

Every year, the district coordinates with agencies, units, localities, associations and unions to promote propaganda and widely deploy the contents of the movement to build a new countryside to each household; mobilize people to integrate the contents of the movement with the movements and campaigns of each unit and locality.

In addition, the district has promoted the movement to build cultural families, cultural residential areas, cultural agencies and units, focusing on propagating the meaning and role of families in society; the meaning of building cultural families with the contents of building cultural residential areas, building cultural agencies and units and preventing and combating domestic violence.

At the same time, integrate the movement to build a cultural family with the movements of "Good people, good deeds", "When drinking water, remember its source", "Repaying gratitude", "Eliminating hunger and reducing poverty", "Raising healthy children, teaching good children"; "Exemplary grandparents and parents, filial children"; "Study-loving families"; competing in good production and business, uniting to help each other reduce poverty.

This is demonstrated by the high rate of cultural families and cultural residential areas. By the end of 2024, the entire district is estimated to have 90.5% of households achieving the title of cultural family; 232/263 residential areas achieving the title of cultural residential area with a rate of 88.2%.

One of the contents that the district focuses on to build a cultural environment is to create conditions for people to practice their beliefs in conjunction with implementing a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, and festivals. In 2024, the whole district had more than 800 weddings, 717 funerals, and the implementation of the content of organizing weddings and funerals was in accordance with regulations.

To create a healthy cultural environment, the district has promoted cultural and sports activities, guided localities and units to implement competitions and cultural and sports exchange programs in residential areas. At the same time, it has paid attention to allocating land funds to build cultural and sports facilities from the district to the grassroots level; mobilized villages to establish sports and physical education (ST), culture and arts (VHVN) teams and groups.

Through that, the cultural, sports and physical training movements in the district have developed vigorously, attracting a large number of people to participate. Over the past years, the construction of infrastructure such as clean water systems, cultural houses, and concrete roads have been discussed democratically, publicly, and received public opinions. Typically, the district has supported and mobilized social resources to build and upgrade 40 cultural houses in residential areas with a total cost of nearly 20 billion VND in 2024.

Up to now, the whole district has established and maintained the activities of 185 ethnic cultural clubs. Cultural activities of ethnic groups such as: Cotton dance, Senh Tien dance in Yen Luong commune, drum dance in Huong Can commune, Lap Tinh dance, and Tet dance are organized in accordance with cultural customs and lifestyle. Along with that, the whole district has 285 sports clubs, the number of people regularly practicing sports reaches 44.1%; the number of sports families reaches 35.9%, thereby contributing to gradually improving the spiritual life of the people.

It can be seen that the good implementation of the movement to build cultural life in Thanh Son district has contributed to promoting internal strength, successfully completing socio-economic development targets, actively helping each other to eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, and develop production and business.

In the coming time, Thanh Son district will continue to implement Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW dated June 9, 2014 of the 9th Central Conference (11th tenure) on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development", Directive No. 13-CT/TU dated June 10, 2013 of the Provincial Party Committee on "Strengthening leadership in implementing civilized lifestyles in weddings and funerals; rectifying drinking alcohol, beer, smoking, giving flowers, gifts and using public transport". At the same time, promote extensive propaganda to all classes of people about the meaning and purpose of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" in many diverse and rich forms.
