He said that the construction and equipment supply and installation package (excluding 2,000-seat stage equipment) will take 21 months to complete. Currently, the 12-storey circus project has basically completed the basement; concrete is being poured on the ground floor, expected to be completed on November 9, and the concrete work on the ground floor of the main building will be completed by November 11 at the latest. The circus block is estimated to complete the rough construction in September 2024.

By the end of April 2025, the entire project will be completed, inaugurated and put into operation.

Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Anh Duc commented: "The current construction progress is quite slow. Contractors need to increase human resources and equipment to speed up the construction progress."

The Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested that the project be officially put into operation by April 30, 2025.

"The Department of Culture and Sports now needs to develop a plan to operate and exploit the project effectively, practically and reasonably. In particular, build a performance program here on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, which is also the time of the project's inauguration," Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Anh Duc suggested.
