This is a cluster of “Campus” following the model of the most modern institute and school in Vietnam according to the model standards of countries with developed healthcare in the world. It is a bright spot and a breakthrough, creativity of Ho Chi Minh City in general and of the city’s healthcare sector in particular.

Started in 2015, Tan Kien Medical Cluster (located in Tan Nhut commune, Ho Chi Minh City), has a total planning area of 73 hectares, divided into 2 phases according to the green medical model, focusing on investing in public service areas, parks, sports fields, and accommodation for relatives of patients.
In phase 1, 2 hospitals, 1 center and 1 medical university have been constructed, on a total area of 33.32 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 7,600 billion VND from the public budget. In phase 2026-2030, with a vision to 2045 (phase 2), construction will begin on new research centers belonging to Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine; Ho Chi Minh City 115 Emergency Center, Facility 2 and Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic and Trauma Hospital.
