The project to hire information technology services for the Smart Tourism Software System of Quang Nam province in the period of 2021 - 2025 has a total investment of more than 11.5 billion VND, including the following items: tourism information portal; digital tourism map system; management system, QuangNam Tourism app on IOS and Android operating systems; private domain name and SSL certificate according to domain name...
The system is the official promotion channel of Quang Nam tourism industry and is one of the key projects in the province's digital transformation in the period 2020 - 2025.
Officially put into operation since May 2022, the system currently stores and promotes 104 tourist destinations, 369 accommodation establishments, 142 food businesses, 129 entertainment venues, 127 shopping venues, 283 travel data, nearly 40 3D data, video clips... Up to now, the Quang Nam Tourism Information Portal has had 334 thousand visits.
According to the assessment, the system has contributed to enhancing the image of the land and friendly people of Quang Nam in the eyes of tourists; at the same time promoting tourism potential with strengths in green tourism, eco-tourism... attracting tourists to Quang Nam.
This project also contributed to helping the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam become the only representative of Vietnam to be named in the category of Asia's Leading Local Tourism Management Agency at the World Travel Awards 2024.
At the meeting, representatives of departments and branches clarified a number of contents such as: fixing some technical errors; continuing to hire smart tourism services in the period of 2026 - 2030; project implementation procedures according to regulations; building telecommunications infrastructure at public tourist spots... The opinions will be compiled by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval.
