The 10th People's Artist and Meritorious Artist Award Ceremony will take place on the morning of March 6 at the Hanoi Opera House. There will be 389 artists, including 125 People's Artists and 264 Meritorious Artists, who will be awarded or posthumously awarded the title on this occasion.

The art program is a new feature in this People's Artist and Meritorious Artist awarding ceremony. In particular, the performances are performed by the artists honored at the awarding ceremony such as People's Artist Thanh Lam, People's Artist Thanh Thuy, People's Artist Mai Hoa...

The program will open with a dance performance called "Vietnam, Spring is Here" performed by Phuong Nam group, Thoi Gian group, choir and May dance group, Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater. The program brings a heroic sound, a joyful atmosphere at the beginning of the new year, creating an exciting atmosphere for the audience.

Along with that are the songs "I am proud to be the future of Vietnam" performed by artist Phuong Mai and the song "Reaching to the top" performed by People's Artist Mai Hoa as a source of encouragement and motivation for the artists to continue on their career journey, continue to contribute, and reach the top.

The powerful voice of People's Artist Thanh Lam will bring the audience the song "Country". Coming from Ho Chi Minh City, People's Artist Thanh Thuy will bring to the program the song "Singing from the city named after Him".

At the end of the program, People's Artist Quoc Hung and the choir and dance troupe will perform the song "A Thousand Vietnamese Dreams" for the audience.

At the rehearsal, Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy highly appreciated the proactiveness of the units in preparing for the ceremony to award the titles of People's Artist and Meritorious Artist. The Deputy Minister stated that, with the close attention and direction of Minister Nguyen Van Hung, the units, within their assigned functions and tasks, must continue to practice and be ready for the ceremony to take place in a manner that ensures formality and solemnity, thereby honoring the titles, encouraging the artists, creating new impetus and motivation in future artistic activities.

The Deputy Minister assessed that the art program was concise, high quality, and ensured political and artistic values. At the same time, Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy requested the artists participating in the program to continue practicing well, and the units to continue to be proactive in coordinating and performing their tasks, ensuring that the ceremony was truly meaningful, impressive, solemn, and professional./.
