According to the regulations, the Steering Committee operates under the direct leadership of the Provincial Party Secretary. Members work part-time and coordinate closely with departments, branches and localities in the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, ensuring progress, efficiency and compliance with legal regulations.
The Steering Committee has the function of advising on the development of directives and plans; organizing propaganda, inspection, supervision and evaluation of implementation effectiveness. At the same time, the standing unit is the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is responsible for coordinating, synthesizing and reporting on the implementation status.
The Head of the Steering Committee is responsible for the whole, assigns specific tasks to each member, and organizes regular or ad hoc meetings. The Deputy Heads and members are responsible for implementing tasks within the assigned scope and proposing solutions to overcome difficulties.
The Regulations specifically stipulate working principles, coordination mechanisms, information and reporting regimes and responsibilities of relevant parties to ensure the highest efficiency in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, aiming at the goal of sustainable poverty reduction by 2030.
